Description

Iteris is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Partner Manager to lead sales initiatives across the Western region. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth through both direct and channel sales of Iteris’s comprehensive suite of hardware, software, and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public sector sales, government procurement processes, and funding mechanisms, coupled with exceptional skills in account mapping and solution selling to multiple stakeholders within small and midsize agencies.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Manage overall sales for the West region, driving growth across Iteris’s full portfolio of hardware, software, and services solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with distribution partners, municipal and regional agency stakeholders to drive market coverage and customer success.
  • Support and grow a network of distribution partners by creating joint go-to-market plans, aligning on sales objectives, and driving partner pipeline development and execution.
  • Drive product adoption and portfolio expansion by promoting the value of Iteris’ full suite of solutions and encouraging attach rates for software and services with hardware sales.
  • Lead complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders, including engineers, planners, procurement officers, and IT staff, ensuring alignment between customer needs and Iteris offerings.
  • Map accounts and build strategic engagement plans for key small-to-midsize agencies to identify and capture growth opportunities.
  • Provide accurate forecasting and reporting, ensuring partner and direct pipeline data is up to date in Salesforce and contributing to regional sales goals.
  • Monitor and analyze partner performance, providing coaching and resources to improve pipeline health and sales conversion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, marketing, and customer success to deliver a seamless customer experience and ensure regional feedback informs product and GTM strategies.
  • Participate in industry events and regional conferences to build brand presence, support partners, and generate opportunities.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Over five (5) years of sales and dealer/distributor experience in public sector, government technology, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of the government procurement process and public funding sources.
  • Proven success in territory or district-level sales, with a mix of direct and channel engagement.
  • Excellent account mapping, stakeholder engagement, and consultative sales capabilities.
  • Effective communicator with ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with SalesForce or other CRM platforms.
  • ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems) experience is a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within the region.
    Iteris anticipates paying a base salary between $100,000 and $110,000 for this role, in addition to quarterly commissions. Actual pay offered may be below or above these amounts, depending on the individual’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
