REPORTS TO: Regional Head of HR US & Canada
STATUS: Exempt/Salaried
LOCATION: Remote, U.S. (
SALARY: $50,000-55,000.00 USD (Commensurate with education and
experience)

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience in the Human Resources function.
  • A minimum of 3+ years of recent and relevant experience in recruiting, onboarding, or strong administrative assistant support. (Experience of working in HR Coordinator or Administrative Assistant support).
  • Experience with Workday Preferred.
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills with employees and all levels of management; able to create a working environment of open communication and trust.
  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities.
  • An understanding of and commitment to the ethos of the education industry.

Responsibilities

PURPOSE OF ROLE

We are seeking an exceptional Regional People Operations (HR) Onboarding Specialist US East & Canada who is team-oriented, collaborative, “hands on roll-up their sleeves”, and has high customer service standards. The Regional People Operations (HR) Administrator role will be focused on administering support with recruitment, new hire-onboarding via Workday, HR administrative support to include but not limited to: reporting tasks, and employee file maintenance. Under the direction of the Regional Head of HR, and in partnership with our Heads of School and School Leadership teams ensure all recruitment and new hire recruitment and onboarding functions are completed in alignment with ISP and school standards. This role will support our shared HR services inbox and support other members of the HR teams with ensuring onboarding tasks are completed
This individual must thrive in a fast-paced environment with many moving pieces, and seeks to ensure they provide a compliant “white-glove” customer service experience for our candidates and employees. In this role, you will be supporting a People Operations (HR) Shared Services with upwards to 1,500 employees in a multi-state environment and growing.
Key Partners to This Role: People Operations Shared Services Team and School Leadership Teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support with recruitment efforts to include but not limited to – gathering references, background checks and supporting with onboarding efforts, aligned to our safer recruitment processes.
  • Act as a point of contact and provide a stellar “candidate experience” by relationship building during the selection process.
  • Submit background checks through our background check provider (Sterling) for selected candidates. Including collection of international police checks (from candidates) as applicable.
  • Provide support to with updating HR databases and systems related to onboarding initiatives.
  • Support our schools with new hire onboarding activities as outlined by our onboarding guidelines and standard operating procedures.
  • Responsible for ensuring all employee files for new hires and existing employees are maintained in accordance with file standards.
  • Support with I-9 completion and organization.
  • Provide support with the HRIS platforms as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
