Job title - Regional Product Development Expert (Market Ready Solution) Location - Singapore The Product development expert (Market Ready Solution) applies scientific knowledge with an understanding of the nutraceutical industry and the product development process to formulate dose forms of tablets, capsules, powders, emulsions and oils with the ability to manufacture these prototypes both internally within dsm-firmenich and in collaboration with third party ODM or customers. He/she should have knowledge of finished product development in the supplement space. Your Key Responsibilities: Manage and conduct prototype development for MRS projects and initiatives Review new raw material ingredients for sourcing, costing and validation in manufacturing Review customer complaints and assist with customer quality investigations Partner sales and marketing teams to prepare presentations for customers Assist team members in conducting shelf-life studies Improving and/or develop new production process for better quality and/or greater efficiency Present analytical results and recommendations to team members post product development Ensure formulated products comply with supplement regulations Establish product specifications and documentation for prepared supplement prototypes We Offer: Unique career paths across health, nutrition and beauty - explore what drives you and get the support to make it happen. You Bring: A bachelor's degree in science (chemistry, food technology, pharmaceutical, nutrition science) 5 years' experience in a related chemistry, biochemistry nutraceutical science, technology or nutrition field To be familiar and kept up to date with nutraceutical product development methods and techniques Experience in a MLM company will be ideal Strong project management skills is preferred to manage multi task effectively Exhibit innovation in discovery, advancement, and evaluation of new technologies in the area of nutraceutical finished goods and solutions Understanding of regulatory guidelines & manufacturing operations e.g. ISO, HACCP & GMP practices Able to work independently and with teams to conduct investigative analysis and product development Have good verbal, written, analytical and presentation skills Keep abreast of new product developments in local and overseas markets.
