Job TitleRegional Product Manager - Inorganic Location(s)Shanghai Key Responsibilities: 1. Strategy Development and Execution: Conduct in-depth analysis of trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape in China's inorganic analysis market (including end markets such as environmental, food, pharmaceutical, industrial, and research). Develop and implement annual product line business plans, market entry strategies, and growth initiatives tailored to the characteristics of the local Chinese market, based on the global product strategy from headquarters. Be responsible for the product line's pricing strategy, positioning, value proposition, and lifecycle management. 2. Headquarters Liaison and Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between the China region and global product management headquarters, ensuring smooth and accurate two-way information flow. Report regularly to headquarters on China market performance, market dynamics, and competitive intelligence, providing input and recommendations from the Chinese market for the global product roadmap. Coordinate headquarters resources to ensure product training, marketing materials, and technical updates are effectively and timely communicated to the China team. 3. Marketing Promotion and Enablement: Plan and execute annual marketing campaigns, including industry exhibitions, technical seminars, online marketing, etc., to enhance product brand awareness and generate potential leads. Provide ongoing product knowledge, competitive analysis, and sales tool training to the sales, technical support, and application teams, enabling the frontline teams to achieve sales targets. Develop targeted Chinese marketing materials (e.g., product brochures, application notes, success stories). 4. Sales Support and Business Analysis: Provide high-level product and technical support for major projects or key customer opportunities, assisting the sales team in closing orders. Monitor key performance indicators such as product line sales performance, market share, and profit margin; conduct business analysis and take necessary actions to ensure targets are met. Manage and optimize product inventory levels, collaborating with the supply chain team to ensure product availability. Requirements: Master's degree or higher in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Environmental Science, Materials Science, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of work experience in the scientific instruments industry, with at least 3 years focused on product management, senior application support, or sales roles for inorganic analysis products such as ICP-MS and/or AAS. Ideally have hands-on operational, application, or management experience with ICP-MS or AAS products, with a deep understanding of their technical advantages, market positioning, and competitive landscape. Excellent bilingual communication skills in both English and Chinese (written and spoken), enabling efficient and professional communication and collaboration with global headquarters colleagues. Exceptional strategic thinking, market analysis capabilities, and business acumen, with the ability to independently develop and drive product strategies.
