JOB SUMMARY

As the Product Marketing Supervisor, you will provide both strategic and tactical leadership to the Product team at our Plano, TX location. You will drive key initiatives that support our continued growth and success, leading your team to deliver exceptional service and helping maintain Heilind’s reputation as an industry leader.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties as assigned.

  • Lead and mentor the Product team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
  • Manage personnel activities, including training, development, and performance management of direct reports.
  • Oversee supplier contract management, ensuring compliance and fostering strong supplier relationships.
  • Coordinate regional quotations, quality assurance, and costing to streamline operations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align product strategies and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Act as a product expert to support sales teams and resolve supplier issues.
  • Propose and drive process improvements to optimize business performance and profitability.
  • Contribute to corporate initiatives such as customer retention, market share growth, and team development.

Requirements:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Required: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Preferred: 5+ years of product management experience in electronic distribution.
Preferred: 3+ years of management experience, preferably in electronic component distribution or a closely related industry.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • To perform the position, you must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations). ITAR defines a U.S. Person as a U.S. citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (I.e., ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
  • Must be able to work hybrid schedule: in-office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, remote on Monday and Friday.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong leadership, communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Proven business acumen with a focus on creative problem-solving.
  • Creativity to introduce new ideas which could improve sales or processes.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job the employee is often required to stand, sit, use computers, read, write, type, use copy machines, file paperwork, use telephones, and utilize written and oral communication to interact with clients, co-workers, and customers.
