The Regional Product Specialist (RPS) will work directly with HUB APMEA Regional Product Manager Oil and Dry Distribution Transformers. The Regional Product Specialist (RPS) for Oil and Dry Distribution Transformers in the HUB APMEA region is responsible for managing the assigned product portfolio through market and competitive analysis, compliance with standards, and support for new product development. The RPS ensures a market-leading and competitive position, strong value differentiation, and technology leadership, thereby contributing to customer satisfaction and profitable growth. How you'll make an impact Conduct comprehensive market analysis and trend identification by evaluating international and regional standards, regulations, and customer specifications. Perform competitor assessments to pinpoint opportunities for improvement and differentiation. Gather and analyze customer feedback (e.g., Voice of Customer, NPS, surveys) to drive product enhancements and increase satisfaction. Manage and update technical specifications for products to ensure competitiveness and compliance.Oversee performance improvement initiatives (competitiveness, design to value) through benchmarking and quality feedback. Assist in finalizing requirements for new products and technology transfers.Ensure compliance with all relevant external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines throughout the product lifecycle. Work closely with global product managers, R&D centers, and local business units to align regional needs with global strategies.Act as a liaison among product management, engineering teams, application engineering, and marketing to deliver technical insights and promotional support. Ensure effective communication and knowledge sharing across engineering, operations, sales, and channel teams. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external & internal regulations, procedures & guidelines. Your Background Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Electrical Engineering is a plus. Minimum 10 years of experience in product management, market analysis, or a similar role within the transformers or energy industry, along with strong technical knowledge of transformer products and applications relevant to the region. Experience with market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and product lifecycle management. Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional and multicultural teams. Proficiency in English; additional regional languages are a plus.
