OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Property Manager to oversee multiple properties within our portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in property management, with a focus on customer service and operational excellence. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively manage teams, ensure compliance with regulations, and enhance the overall performance of our properties.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in property management with a strong understanding of LIHTC regulations.
  • Familiarity with real estate administrative tasks including contracts, sales strategies, and upselling techniques.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to manage contracts effectively.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building positive relationships with tenants and stakeholders.
  • Experience in legal administrative roles related to landlord-tenant law is preferred.
  • Proficiency in office experience, including phone etiquette and administrative duties such as data entry and filing.

Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operations of assigned properties, ensuring high levels of tenant satisfaction and retention.
  • Oversee leasing activities, including marketing strategies, tenant screenings, and lease negotiations.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, landlord-tenant law, and Section 8 requirements.
  • Utilize the property management software AppFolio for data entry, reporting, and customer relationship management.
  • Implement conflict management strategies to resolve tenant issues effectively.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure timely property maintenance and facilities management.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to assess conditions and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records through filing systems and administrative processes.
  • Develop budgets and financial reports while monitoring property performance against established goals.
  • Train and mentor property staff in customer service excellence and operational procedures.
