Description

Regional Quality Manager | Adult Social Care (Residential & Nursing) | South of England | £60K + Car Allowance
We’re recruiting for a senior quality leadership role across a group of residential and nursing services in the South of England. The group is growing and evolving, and they now require a Regional Quality Manager to provide oversight, stability, and consistent standards across their diverse portfolio of homes.
Some of the homes are settled. Others have experienced recent changes, new managers, RI ratings, or compliance gaps that need a steady hand. The setup is in place, and governance support is available. What’s needed now is someone who can lead from the front, bring clarity to managers, and raise standards across the board.
This isn’t a reactive role. You’ll be expected to build relationships, identify risks early, coach managers through complex issues, and collaborate with the senior governance team to embed a culture of consistent, inspection-ready care.

Responsibilities
  • Hold a Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care, Quality Assurance, or Leadership (or equivalent)
  • Have held a senior multi-site quality or compliance role across adult social care services
  • Understand CQC frameworks in detail and have led services through RI-to-Good or NOP recovery
  • Are confident in carrying out service audits, quality walkthroughs, and leading post-inspection reviews
  • Have experience coaching or mentoring managers who are under pressure or new in post
  • Can balance warmth with authority, someone trusted by staff and respected by regulators
  • Are confident working with clinical teams, even if you don’t hold an NMC pin
  • Are comfortable presenting data, spotting trends, and reporting key risks to governance leads
  • Are based in or able to travel regularly across the South (Surrey, Hampshire, Sussex, and surrounds)
