Job title:  Regional Quality Services Lead Reports To: Director of Quality and Clinical Services FLSA Status:  Exempt Location:  Central Region (Travel Required) Position Summary: The Regional Quality Services Lead is responsible for leading, supporting, and monitoring clinical compliance and quality improvement initiatives across all facilities in the Central Region. This individual will provide leadership and oversight to a team of Quality Services consultants and directly manage clinical quality operations for designated facilities within the region.  Responsibilities: * Oversee and guide the implementation of quality improvement programs and clinical compliance initiatives across the Central Region.  * Lead and manage a team of regional QS consultants, including coaching, development, performance evaluation, and alignment with organizational goals.  * Participate in mock surveys as requested by Mock Survey team. * Ensure Quality services coverage during staff vacations and absences.  * Serves as Interim Director of Nursing (DON) when needed to maintain continuity of leadership and clinical operations.  * Monitor and evaluate facility performance metrics, clinical audits, and regulatory compliance reports to identify risks and drive improvement plans.  * Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned facilities, offering hands-on support, clinical consultation, and remediation as needed.  * Collaborate with facility leadership teams to build a culture of clinical excellence, safety, and regulatory readiness.  * Support survey readiness and response activities, including planning, education, mock surveys, and post-survey corrective actions. * Ensure alignment with corporate quality standards, state and federal regulations, and industry best practices.  * Provide regular reporting and updates to the Director of Quality and Clinical Services and other senior leaders.  * Travel regularly throughout the South Region to visit assigned facilities and support QS consultant site visits.  Qualifications:  * Required Education: RN license in good standing * Preferred Education: BSN or higher degree in nursing or healthcare administration * Experience: Minimum of 5 years in clinical quality, compliance, or nursing leadership roles, with multi-site experience strongly preferred.  Skills: * Strong knowledge of federal and state healthcare regulations (CMS, OSHA, etc) * Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.  * Excellent communication, coaching, and problem solving skills * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and EMR Systems Work Conditions: * Travel up to 70% within the Central Region * Occasional evening or weekend hours during survey preparation or emergencies
