We provide exceptional hospitality services in some of the most breathtaking locations across the country, including national and state parks, marinas, forests, and museums. From Hawaii to the East Coast, our dedicated teams create unforgettable experiences for visitors, with the support of our corporate office in Overland Park, Kansas. Summary of Position: Work in close collaboration with suppliers, the retail team, and site leaders to ensure that the retail assortment within your region meets the needs and demands of our customers with a focus on revenue and profit growth. This position requires a minimum of 40 hours per week, with some overtime and travel. Responsibilities: * Maintain inventory database and routine product analysis * Accurate and timely analysis of all related retail products within your region * Provide updates to retail team and site leadership * Lead promotional, markdowns, and local supplier strategies for your region * Represent and “be the voice of” the sites in your region within the retail team and corporate headquarters * Maintain strong vendor relationships through positive and timely communications * Understand and ensure the maximization of gross profit dollars * Develop site-specific knowledge from your region focusing on the unique historic and physical features of the sites * Ensure compliance with department standards * Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment * Assist with inventory where and when required * Other duties as may be assigned Position Requirements: * Ability to work independently and multi-task with little or no supervision; * Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills; * Ability to interact with multiple personality types in a positive and productive manner; * Excellent customer service and people skills; * Ability to provide creative input when problem-solving; * Intermediate Microsoft office skills, with an emphasis on Excel; * Must be extremely organized with strong attention to details.
