MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Work with the Retail Training Manager to identify and prioritize training needs aligned to business objectives.
  • Produce and deliver high quality learning materials & develop a learning culture.
  • Weekly stores visits for in-store training, supervise development and identify local store needs.
  • Monthly call with other regional trainers to discuss regional updates and best practices.
  • Lead the new store opening training.
  • Help onboarding of new sales associates.
  • Mentoring of the store training champions and making sure we deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Supervise Completion rate of online training courses and follow up to validate learning process.
  • Review sales performance by product and identify potential areas for improvement, prioritize and drive improvements.
  • Actively research and maintain knowledge of new products, new brands, technologies, materials and features.
  • Share standard processes in the region and provide feedback whenever vital.
  • Ensure that materials are always up to date and re-use them where necessary.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  • High willingness to travel within the region (weekly travel to stores is required).
  • Valid driver’s license (company car provided).
  • Experience in a training role, preferably in the retail or sales sector.
  • Self-motivated and organized.
  • Able to run multiple projects and meet objectives.
  • Skilled at identifying problems and finding solutions.
  • Contributes positively to a supportive and high-performing learning environment.

EXPERIENCE IN RETAIL LEARNING AND TRAINING, INCLUDING:

  • Training needs analysis
  • Program design and development
  • Training delivery
  • Evaluation of training efficiency
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing project needs.
  • Commercial awareness of the retail market and consumer trends.
  • Strong interest in the sports and fashion industry.
  • Fluent in English (required), additional European languages are a plus.
  • Highly influential, engaging, and persuasive communicator.

PROVEN EXPERIENCE DELIVERING TRAINING THROUGH VARIOUS FORMATS:

  • In-person (instructor-led)
  • Virtual sessions
  • Self-directed learning paths
  • Advanced facilitation techniques
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
