Job Description Summary Support definition and deployement of robotic& & automation roadmap in our Indian factories This role is critical in identifying, evaluating, and implementing robotization opportunities aligned with our strategic growth and capacity expansion objectives, (particularly in low-volume, high-mix production environments). Job Description Essential Responsibilities Coordinate the definition and the deployement of robotic & automation roadmaps inour 3 manufacturing site Project Management & Execution Coordinate the planning, execution, and delivery of robotic deployment projects from concept to commissioning with the factories tea, the integrator & the GEV automation Center Of Excellence Support to Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and budgets in alignment with stakeholders. Lead in some specific case preliminary studies with integrators or GEV automation COE Business Case Development Deploy methodlogy to screen our manufacturing processes to identify automation/robotization opportunities. Define with the factories preliminary ROI, payback period, and performance KPIs for proposed robotic investments. Support the units to prepare and present detailed business cases to Business Line leadership and robotics & automation council to support capital investment decisions Technical Support & Oversight Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to validate technical feasibility and integration of robotic systems.. Ensure solutions comply with safety standards, industry regulations, and internal quality requirements. Continuous Improvement & Strategy Support the development of roadmaps for future robotic initiatives in the factories and the scalability of some running projects. Monitor emerging technologies and recommend enhancements for long-term competitiveness. Support internal capability building and knowledge transfer across sites. Qualifications / Requirements • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics) or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus. • Experience: Minimum 5–10 years of experience in robotics implementation, automation, or manufacturing project management. Proven track record of successfully delivering robotic/automation projects in factory environments. Experience with low-volume, high-mix production settings and scaling capacity through automation. • Location(s): India : Chennai/Padappai - Hosur - Vadodara Desired Characteristics • Specific knowledge - Competent in project management and associated tools - Strong understanding of robotic systems ( collaborative robots, industrial arms, AGVs, sensors, actuators & related hardware). - Deep knowledge and understanding of manufacturing systems, lean principles, and digital transformation tools. - SAP, IoT (Internet of Things) knowledge and experience would be a plus • Other -Leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities. - Capable of influencing and driving change - Able to work autonomously in a cross-functional environment. - Strong analytical skills - Good interpersonal skills and strong communication skills - Team player - Results oriented - Autonomous - regular travels in India and abroad time to time are needed • Languages: Fluent in English (written and spoken) Additional Information Relocation Assistance Provided: No Addressing the climate crisis is an urgent global priority and we take our responsibility seriously.
