PTR Baler and Compactor, a division of Komar Industries, is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will play a key role in helping companies achieve their green initiatives by reducing waste streams and increasing recycling efforts. This ideal candidate will be based in Texas.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Hunting for new opportunities to sell waste and recycling equipment into national accounts, dealers, and distributors within your region.
- Strategizing and developing account plans to expand Komar’s scope, assure customer retention, and drive new business development.
- Collaborating closely with Komar’s internal teams to communicate and see customer requirements to successful completion.
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
- Corporate Account Management experience and a proven track record of selling into large accounts at the corporate headquarters level.
- 5-10 years of experience (industry experience a plus) and a college degree (technical or business degree preferred).
- Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to listen, ask, present, persuade, and solve, as well as the ability to adapt communication to different personality styles.
- Technical aptitude (understand machine specifications such as pressure, force, volume) and experience with Microsoft products and CRM software.
- Creativity and the ability to create engaging presentations (PowerPoint).
- A willingness to travel 30%-50% within the local region (multistate).
