Description

AM is a leading publisher and SaaS provider of digital primary source collections for the global research and academic community. We are looking for an ambitious, commercially-minded individual looking to develop their career in sales, with an exciting UK-based opportunity to work within our major market, North America. Working closely with colleagues across the North American Sales Team, the Regional Sales Associate will contribute to territory success through prospecting for new and dormant business, existing customer engagement, sales pipeline development, and execution of a defined sales strategy.
The role is well suited to a motivated, early-career sales professional with a strong interest in the humanities or academic publishing. It offers the opportunity to build commercial experience in a global sales environment while developing long-term customer relationships and contributing directly to AM’s growth.
This role will be based at AM’s UK headquarters with the rewarding opportunity to travel to the US approximately four times per year, each trip lasting around two weeks. AM operates a flexible working hours policy, but the role requires a willingness to work some weekly hours compatible with US time zones.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject area (e.g. Arts, Humanities, History, Literature).
  • Some experience in a customer-facing or sales role (internship, graduate scheme, or entry-level).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce) is an advantage.
  • Willingness to learn and apply consultative selling techniques.
  • Ability to work flexibly to accommodate US time zones where needed, and willingness to travel approximately 8 weeks per year in the US.
