About the Department
Account Executives, Business Development Representatives, Solution Engineers, and Customer Success - all working together help our customers adopt Cloudflare and create great Internet-enabled experiences.
The sales team at Cloudflare helps customers solve real, technical problems while creating the revenue streams that help the company provide free service to millions in our community.
What you’ll do
We are looking for amazing people to join our rapidly growing Asia Pacific sales team. Based in Singapore you will drive sales in Asean. The ideal candidate will have an existing network of contacts within Asean: mid-segment companies as well as relevant channel partners such as Systems Integrators, Value Added Resellers, MSP’s.

The ideal candidate will possess both a sales and technical background that enables them to drive engagement with junior through senior levels within Cloudflare’s target customers.

  • Prospects for new clients within specified territory, utilizing telephone, direct mail, seminars, or other marketing programs
  • Develop relationships to understand our customers’ business goals and and provide the best Cloudflare solutions to drive revenue
  • Meets or exceeds sales/revenue objectives through new client growth or increased revenue from existing clients to support overall company growth goals
  • Create & articulate compelling value propositions for Cloudflare services
  • Position and sell additional products and services by identifying new cross-sell opportunities
  • Lead and actively engage in client relationships, partner relationship, presentations and strategies
  • Manage contract negotiations and ensure customer satisfaction
  • < 10% travel

Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience

  • Bachelors degree.
  • Direct experience selling Cloud Security, Network security or CDN
  • Direct experience selling to mid-market accounts acting as lead seller and relationship owner
  • Technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus
  • Basic understanding of computer networking and “how the internet works”
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written) as well as organizational skills
