REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF SALES BRANCH OPERATIONS – USA

Location: Preferred candidates based in Washington or Idaho
Our client is a leading distributor in the HVAC and building products industry, dedicated to delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions through a network of strategically located sales branches. They are seeking a senior, results-driven Regional Director of Sales Branch Operations to oversee branch sales, marketing, operations, and team leadership across a defined region. This is a critical leadership role focused on driving branch profitability, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction while supporting growth initiatives.

Sales & Customer Experience

  • Ensure branch sales teams consistently deliver superior customer service and meet or exceed sales targets
  • Identify and recommend new business opportunities and market strategies to senior management
  • Maintain strong relationships with key customers, wholesalers, and industry partner
Responsibilities

As the Regional Director of Sales Branch Operations, you will provide leadership and direction to multiple sales branches within your region, ensuring operational effectiveness and sales success. Your responsibilities include:

Leadership & Team Development

  • Guide and support Branch Managers and regional staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
  • Conduct performance reviews, recommend compensation changes, and manage recruitment and staffing needs
  • Promote employee development and retention through coaching and leadership programs

Sales & Customer Experience

  • Ensure branch sales teams consistently deliver superior customer service and meet or exceed sales targets
  • Identify and recommend new business opportunities and market strategies to senior management
  • Maintain strong relationships with key customers, wholesalers, and industry partners

Operational Excellence

  • Lead regular operational and sales meetings to monitor branch performance, pricing, competitor activity, and customer feedback
  • Prepare and manage annual sales and expense budgets with focus on profitability and compliance
  • Report market conditions, sales trends, and operational updates to the VP of Sales and executive team

Strategic Collaboration

  • Work closely with Procurement to provide timely market intelligence and sales forecasts to support buying decisions
  • Collaborate with Marketing, R&D, and other departments to support product initiatives and promotional efforts
  • Contribute ideas for product improvement and new offerings based on regional market insights
