This role ensures Emesent achieves its business objectives through new business acquisition, strategic account development, and strengthening client relationships. You’ll work closely with global management, commercial, product, and operations teams to shape and execute regional strategies. \n Key Responbilities Key Responbilities Sales Leadership & Strategy Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan aligned with Emesent’s objectives, driving revenue growth, market share expansion, and profitability Lead, mentor, and motivate the APAC sales team, including internal staff and external partners, fostering a high-performance culture Drive the capture and expansion of Emesent’s business with strategic accounts Manage the APAC region sales pipeline to support budgets and rolling forecasts Market Analysis & Expansion Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform strategy Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored market entry plans, including product localization, pricing models, and sales tactics Partnership Development Source, onboard, and manage reseller partners across the APAC region Establish, nurture, and grow strong relationships with strategic partners and key stakeholders Identify collaboration opportunities to accelerate market penetration and growth Sales Performance & Forecasting Develop, monitor, and report on KPIs to track sales team performance and regional revenue targets Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement based on sales data and market trends Prepare and manage annual sales revenue budgets in alignment with Emesent’s financial objectives Client Engagement Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring consistent and meaningful engagement Act as the primary point of contact for major accounts, ensuring issues are communicated and resolved efficiently Frequently engage with clients in the region, with travel as required Personal Attributes Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence Collaborative mindset and ability to work across diverse global teams Resilient, adaptable, and able to lead change in dynamic environments Strategic thinker with a problem-solving approach that considers long-term impact Open, engaging, and capable of building trust with stakeholders at all levels What You’ll Bring Experience in sales/business development in a technical industry, preferably Mining, Industrial Infrastructure, or Underground Infrastructure Proven success in strategic account planning, development, and capture Demonstrated ability to effectively engage with engineers or a technical background Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills Track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and growth targets Experience managing high-performing teams, including coaching and mentoring sales staff Significant interest in industrial innovation and technologies, with the ability to communicate and identify new opportunities for application of the technology Demonstrated client relationship management experience and use of a CRM to manage clients and track deals through the pipeline Strong understanding of the industry and competitor trends Willingness to travel domestically and internationally Desirable Experience and Skills Experience taking new and technologically advanced products to market Background in Mining, Surveying, GIS, or asset management Experience with drones, LiDAR, or other mapping/GIS technologies Experience with mapping/GIS or other relevant software tools for manipulating 3D spatial data to generate derived data products Perks & Benefits Work alongside a friendly and passionate team on cutting-edge technology Take advantage of genuine learning and development opportunities Access to the LinkedIn Learning platform Employee Assistance Program and Qoctor online telehealth Enjoy a great work environment and facilities Casual dress code and flexible working One full day of leave each year for work anniversaries \n Who We Are Emesent is a world-leader in drone autonomy, LIDAR mapping, and data analytics.
