REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 20 years of high technology sales experience, preferably within the AV or Unified Communications industry.

  • Minimum of 10 years complex AV solution/consultative selling experience to various vertical markets, with strong emphasis on selling to IT managers.
  • Experience with working with channels – distributors, resellers, system integrators and alliance partners.
  • Experience in selling to education, government, healthcare, enterprises, hospitality and house of worship. Experience in selling to large companies and MNCs would be an advantage.
  • Proven C level/VP level contacts.
  • History of delivering sales results and strong personal accountability.
  • Consistent top sales performance rankings (top 10%) over the years.
  • Proven track record prospecting and opening new accounts.
  • Technical understanding of AV, AVoIP, Video Conferencing and USB-C
  • Operational issues such as inventory, shipments, sell-out etc. - are also part of the overall responsibilities.
  • Creative and entrepreneurial thinking

    Responsibilities
    • The Area Sales Director will be responsible for the overall company’s business in the territory, which consists in achieving sales targets, recruiting and developing new sales channels to support future business growth while overseeing others support functions such as services, operations, logistics, human resources and finance.
    • The Regional Sales Director is responsible for developing the commercial strategy, achieving orders and sales targets, ensuring profitability of local subsidiaries, improving customer satisfaction and rolling out the Kramer partner program in line with the regional business model and GTM strategy.
    • The candidate will provide leadership and guidance to the team, set sales and service objectives, and execute on the strategic business objectives and make sure revenue goals are met by various team members. The position is based in Singapore with frequent travel required to meet end customers, channels partners and consultants.
