Description
This role focuses on selling Exertherm's Continuous Thermal Monitoring products into all relevant electrical segments. If you are a motivated sales professional ready to drive sales efforts in a growing territory, apply today! The role will be responsible for managing a customer base, sales resources, products and channels to market to achieve planned results for the region. This individual will provide sales and thought leadership, as well as market, customer and project development. Expected results include but are not limited to growth in sales and market share, as well as channel development. As an individual contributor, you will travel throughout the territory (30-50%) with overnight stays as part of this role. Sub-region Sales Strategy: Create, plan and implement local sales, go-to-market and strategic business development initiatives, in line with the Americas Regional Sales strategy. Sales Targets: Drive and ensure achievement of sales targets, proactively anticipate and identify shortfalls in performance, and define and implement improvement plans as needed. Business Plans: Develop and implement annual market development plans dedicated to the country market needs in conjunction with the relevant OEM/partner landscape. Analysis: Conduct market analyses and define appropriate forecasts and plans. Evaluate customer research, market conditions and competitor data to formulate the country plans with focused segments, solutions and channels/partners. Training: Drive sales team efficiency by ensuring appropriate methodical and solutions knowledge (technical and sales) and personal development. Ensure know-how sharing and cross-collaboration. Build a partner network of OEMs and installers/service partners, maintain strong relationships with key decision makers and ensure and prove value delivery to the customer. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited institution Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, marketing and/or service in an electrical or industrial market No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the specified job location(s) will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Master's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Business from an accredited institution Experience with Medium and Low voltage power distribution systems, 3 Phase UPS system, Transformers, busduct is a plus, but not required Superior knowledge of sales techniques, customers, customer relations Strong knowledge of managing products, product applications and distribution channels Significant sales presence such as that the candidate can clearly command in difficult sales situations
