Description

WHO IS BADGER MOUNTAIN & POWERS WINERY?

Badger Mountain Vineyard, founded by Bill Powers in 1982, is the first wine grape vineyard to be USDA Certified Organic in Washington State. Bill committed himself to organic viticulture and wine production. His vision began with our responsibility to the environment and extends to producing a completely natural product under our Badger Mountain Vineyard label. We use no synthetic treatments of any kind in our Badger Mountain wines. Badger Mountain is now one of the top selling Organic wines in America.
In 1992 we introduced Powers wines to our lineup. The Powers wines allowed us to use our relationships with local and esteemed vineyards to produce conventionally grown wines that are concentrated, structured, and age-worthy but also embody principles of environmental, community, and sustainability.
