About the role The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving overall regional revenue performance, lead-to-sale conversion, and customer satisfaction across multiple markets. This leader oversees and develops District Sales Managers and Sales Leadership teams, ensuring consistent execution of Closet World’s sales model, operational standards, and customer experience expectations. This role partners closely with cross-functional leaders (Operations, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Finance) to improve sales effectiveness, strengthen talent pipelines, enhance closing performance, and scale growth across the region. The ideal candidate is a high-energy sales leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience leading multi-location teams, developing managers, and driving measurable results. What you’ll do Own and drive regional revenue, lead conversion, close rate, and customer satisfaction goals across multiple territories Lead, coach, and develop District Sales Managers and Sales Leadership teams, ensuring consistent execution of the Closet World sales model Establish regional performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching through weekly KPI reviews, pipeline audits, and field ride-alongs Partner with local leadership to optimize lead allocation, appointment conversion, and closing strategies across markets Identify performance gaps and implement corrective action plans focused on sales execution, follow-up discipline, and objection handling Build and maintain a strong regional talent pipeline, including recruiting support, hiring strategy, and leadership development Drive training and enablement across the region through structured programs, coaching sessions, and ongoing skill development Monitor market performance and competitor trends; provide insights and recommendations to leadership on growth opportunities and regional strategy Ensure accurate reporting and forecasting by maintaining visibility into pipeline health, lead volume, conversion metrics, and revenue projections Promote a culture of accountability, consistency, and recognition while strengthening engagement and retention across the sales organization Collaborate with Operations and Installation teams to ensure a seamless customer experience from design consultation through project completion Qualifications 7+ years of sales leadership experience, preferably in home improvement, in-home consultative sales, retail sales, or services 3+ years managing managers (multi-location or multi-market leadership experience strongly preferred) Proven success driving regional sales performance and improving close rates, revenue, and customer outcomes Strong ability to coach leaders on sales execution, pipeline management, and performance accountability Experience supporting recruiting and hiring for commissioned and/or remote sales teams Highly organized with strong communication and reporting skills Confident, data-driven decision maker with strong problem-solving and leadership presence Ability to travel approximately 25–40% within the region Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint); CRM/reporting experience a plus College degree preferred or equivalent work experience Must be comfortable working fully onsite, 5-days a week in City of Industry Benefits / Perks We believe in recognizing and rewarding our employees for a job well done.
