Description We are a rapidly growing company seeking motivated, reliable individuals who take initiative and are eager to grow with us! Summary: Responsible for driving new business growth and expanding existing customer relationships within an assigned geographic territory for the Contract Manufacturing division. This field-based role focuses on outbound sales activity, relationship development, capacity utilization, and promotion of new and expanded manufacturing capabilities. This position works closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality to align customer demand with facility capacity and the company’s strategic growth objectives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This list of duties is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary. Territory Management & Growth Own and grow a defined geographic territory through regular in-person customer visits and regional travel Identify and pursue new contract manufacturing opportunities aligned with company capabilities and available capacity Develop strategic account plans focused on long-term growth rather than transactional quoting Outbound & Capability-Driven Selling Execute a structured monthly outbound cadence tied to: New machinery and equipment New manufacturing processes Expanded or available machine capacity Proactively promote underutilized equipment and emerging capabilities Conduct plant tours and customer education sessions Internal Alignment & Collaboration Partner with Operations and Customer Support to ensure smooth internal communication and follow-through Provide clear customer requirements and business context to Estimating, Engineering, and Operations teams Maintain accurate CRM records, including activity tracking, opportunity notes, and forecasting inputs Market Intelligence & Strategic Input Gather and share competitive insights, customer feedback, and market trends Identify gaps and opportunities for future capital investment based on customer demand and market needs Success Metrics Success in this role will be measured by: New accounts added per quarter Revenue growth within the assigned territory Utilization of targeted machines and manufacturing capabilities Consistency of outbound activity (meetings set, visits completed) Quality and strength of the opportunity pipeline (not just volume) Travel & Territory · Assigned regional territory with regular driving required · Estimated travel: minimum 75%, primarily regional (not national) Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary with performance-based incentives Company vehicle provided (for business travel) Mileage, fuel, and maintenance covered for business use Health, dental, vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Requirements Qualifications Manufacturing, fabrication, or contract manufacturing sales experience strongly preferred Ability to understand and communicate manufacturing processes, capabilities, and constraints Comfortable selling on capability and capacity, not just price Strong relationship-building and in-person communication skills Self-directed, highly organized, and comfortable with proactive outbound sales activity
