The Opportunity We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager – Distributors to lead and grow our sales performance across the Central & Lower North Island. Reporting to the General Manager – Distribution & Partners NZ, this role is responsible for delivering strong commercial outcomes, strengthening channel partnerships, and leading a high-performing team. You’ll play a key role in accelerating market share growth and supporting Schneider Electric’s transition toward solution-led, value-based selling. Key Responsibilities Lead and deliver regional performance across Orders, Sales, and Margin targets Own and drive forecast accuracy, pipeline health, and execution discipline Identify commercial risks and opportunities and take proactive action to close gaps Lead, coach, and develop a team of 5 sales professionals, fostering a high-performance culture Build team capability in consultative, solution-based selling and customer engagement Strengthen and manage relationships with key wholesalers, contractors, and channel partners Execute commercial agreements, including rebate and incentive programs, to maximise performance Identify and unlock new growth opportunities across the region Translate national strategy into clear, actionable regional plans Support and drive sales transformation initiatives, including customer experience improvements Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, finance, supply chain, product) to deliver business outcomes Requirements Proven experience in a sales leadership role within a B2B environment (electrical, construction, or industrial sectors preferred) Strong track record in channel partner management and key account development Demonstrated experience in leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams Strong commercial acumen with a results-driven mindset Ability to think strategically and execute effectively in a fast-paced environment Highly customer-focused and relationship-driven approach Experience leading through change, transformation, and growth initiatives Why Join Schneider Electric?
