VACATURE: REGIONAL SALES MANAGER (SALES ENGINEER) – UK & NEDERLAND

PENKO offers advanced automation and system integration solutions for the food and beverage industry, among others. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Regional Sales Manager who will be responsible for sales in the Netherlands (75%) and the United Kingdom (25%). In this role you will not only be commercially active, but you will also dive into the technical aspects of the job to support customers and fellow Sales Managers with specialist advice. You will work closely with our office staff in Ede, which means you will be regularly present at the office to brainstorm about quotes, customer questions and ongoing projects.

Your role in brief

• Maintain and develop customer relationships in the Netherlands and the UK (approx. 70% of your time) and visit prospects (approx. 30% of your time).
• Sell customized solutions and PLC-based automation systems.
• Support customers and fellow Sales Managers with technical expertise.
• Following up on quotations, negotiating prices and coordinating contract terms.
• Regular travel within the Netherlands and the UK to visit customers and prospects and strengthen relationships.

In short, a versatile position in which you can develop yourself fully and be an important link in our team! This team consists of a total of 4 Regional Sales Managers and three colleagues in the office. In this position, you will report to the Sales and Service Manager.
