Fairmont Logistic, LLC is a third-party logistics company headquartered in California. In our pursuit of continuous growth, we also have offices located in Charleston, SC, along with our newest addition in Laredo, TX. Between our passion for exceptional customer experience and quality shippers, we aim to create a quick and streamlined process for all our customers’ freight needs.
We’re seeking a high-performing, remote Regional Sales Manager who thrives in a hunter-style, full-cycle sales environment. This role is designed for an experienced logistics professional with a proven track record of closing complex freight deals, building long-term customer relationships, and working cross-functionally to launch and grow accounts. You’ll be expected to generate new revenue opportunities, guide regional growth strategy, and help shape Fairmont’s national customer footprint.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 3+ years in a high-performance logistics sales role (3PL/Brokerage preferred)
  • A hunter mentality with a proven record of closing net-new business at regional or national levels
  • Deep knowledge of freight brokerage, FTL/LTL operations, pricing strategy, and RFP processes
  • Strong negotiation and consultative selling skills—with an eye toward sustainable GP and customer retention
  • CRM fluency (HubSpot), and the ability to manage a healthy pipeline with precision
  • Tech-forward mindset, with experience using tools such as Apollo.io and load boards like DAT
  • High level of professional accountability, energy, and urgency—you operate like an entrepreneur inside the business
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills across remote cross-functional teams
  • College degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (Preferred, not Required)
  • Familiarity with intermodal, cross-border (Mexico/Canada), specialty freight markets such as refrigerated, oversized, etc. (Preferred, not Required)
  • Previous experience working for a non-asset 3PL (Preferred, not Required)

Responsibilities
  • Aggressively hunt, pitch, and close new shippers in North America across Truckload, LTL, and multimodal offerings
  • Own the full business development lifecycle—from prospecting and qualification to contract negotiation and operational startup
  • Collaborate with Pricing, Operations, and Account Management to design compelling logistics solutions for complex supply chains
  • Execute a strategic sales plan aligned to company revenue goals, vertical targets, and margin expectations
  • Deliver consistent gross profit growth through solution-based selling, long-term customer retention, and disciplined pipeline management
  • Leverage CRM (HubSpot) and sales enablement tools (Apollo, JustCall, etc.) to maintain data hygiene and forecasting accuracy
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, spot market conditions, and tariff shifts that influence pricing, capacity, and service delivery
  • Represent Fairmont at virtual and in-person industry events, as needed, to generate leads and strengthen brand awareness
  • Travel, as needed, to visit current customers and key prospects
