We are now seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead the development of new sales channels and market expansion initiatives.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the frozen food manufacturing and wholesale industry or a related field.
Strong knowledge of the UK and EU retail and wholesale markets, including an understanding of customer preferences, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements.
Exceptional negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders at all levels.
Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a motivational and collaborative approach.
Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
Results-oriented mindset with a drive for achieving targets and exceeding expectations.
Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales-related tools.
Fluency in English and Mandarin.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
Full UK Driving licence.
Minimum 3 years of relevant sales experience, preferably within the food manufacturing or FMCG sectors.
Willingness to travel across the UK or Europe.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue growth in the UK and EU markets.
  • Identify and pursue new product and market innovations by researching and analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty, particularly Key accounts.
  • Exchange and communicate information with the marketing department in a timely manner, assist the marketing department in developing effective marketing plans, and assist the marketing department in summarizing and evaluating the marketing plans, and formulating improvement plans.
  • Provide the annual sales plan to support annual marketing plan formulation, and ensure sufficient interaction and collaboration with the marketing department.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to discuss and implement promotional activities, marketing campaigns, and product launches.
  • Coordinate sales and marketing based on regional market conditions and develop effective strategies to market changes, including targeted promotions, marketing campaigns and communications.
  • Communicate with Regional Sales Officers about the company’s new products and promotions in a timely manner, and release plans for new customers acquisitions and new product on-shelf listings, ensuring the pace of new product launches and promotions.
  • Provide advice and supports to regional market managers on their customer visits plans, negotiation strategies, customer problem solving techniques and market promotion methods.
  • Summarise and revise the monthly sales results vs. monthly sales targets for the regional markets, and analyse and report on the reasons for the outcomes.
  • Provide guidance and adjustments to regional sales managers based on the weekly work progress and the sales results achieved in the regional markets, consolidate the content, and report to senior management through weekly reports.
  • Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts, reports, and market insights to the senior management team.
  • Lead and motivate the sales team, providing guidance, support, and training to achieve sales objectives.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes related to frozen food manufacturing and wholesale.
