REMOTE POSITION

Salary: 120K to 160K plus bonus
We are looking for a top performer to join our team.
In order to reach its ambitious business development target driven by the macro trends in E-Mobility, green energy generation and distribution among others, we are looking to strengthen its team with a Regional Sales Manager. The incumbent will manage a mixed portfolio of customers, from small to large multinational companies, and actively contribute to the business development of the Southern region of the United States and the whole Latin American territory. The position is also in charge of the local distributor network.
A strong sales experience with engineering background is required.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in mechanical or electronic engineering. A Business degree is an asset.
  • 5+ years successful sales or business development experience within a company in the electrical components and equipment industry.
  • Based in Texas – either the San Antonio-Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth, or Houston metropolitan areas.
  • Proven experience managing a distributor and/or sales representative network.
  • Structured, result and solution oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines.
  • Self-starter and team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate, negotiate and influence effectively at different levels.
  • Open-minded, with the ability to work efficiently in a multicultural, multifunctional environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and/or Spanish is a strong asset.

Responsibilities
  • Manage customers in assigned territory with a primary focus on engineering and design support.
  • Demonstrate autonomy and pro-activity to achieve ambitious sales growth without compromise on profitability.
  • Must actively use CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) to:
  • Load and update the relevant opportunity information including customers, accounts, projects, contacts, progress, and actions.
  • Prepare quotations and follow-up of opportunities, including negotiation and contract review.
  • Support local distributors and representatives’ sales activity. Deploy appropriate sales and marketing activities and provide product training.
  • Inform/update Inside Salespeople and Management on all relevant customer correspondence and activities.
  • Identify and follow-up new markets/applications and potential customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
  • Foster company collaboration between sales team, local field application Engineers and product management.
  • Provide regular and relevant reports on sales activities and progress towards business objectives.
  • Stay abreast of market developments, relevant legislation and competitor activity.
  • Guarantee that the Company provides its customer products and services of highest standard and quality.
  • 50% of travel for customer appointments.
