Ansell is looking for a Regional Sales Manager North to join our team in Germany.
In this position you will play a vital role in planning, direction, control, and coordination of the sales activities relating to the Ansell products & services in the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOUR ROLE WILL BE?

Collaborating with our cross functional teams, and reporting to the Associate Sales Director Germanics, you will have the opportunity to be accountable for:

  • Sales & Market Strategy: sales revenue, pricing, gross margin, and expenses. Develop objectives to achieve turnover, margin, and market share goals.
  • Planning & Forecasting: contribute to strategic, operational, and financial planning. Provide accurate sales forecasts and market insights to senior management.
  • Channel & Distribution Management: define distribution strategies, select and manage distributors, and drive channel performance.
  • Team Leadership & Development: lead and coach a team of Territory Sales Managers. Conduct performance reviews and supports career development.
  • Customer & Stakeholder Engagement: maintains strong relationships with key distributors, customers, and internal teams (e.g., Marketing, Supply Chain).
  • Team Performance Monitoring: sets KPIs, monitor performance, and ensure alignment with company strategy.
  • CRM & Data Management: ensure accurate CRM data (Salesforce.com) and maintain a healthy project pipeline.
  • Marketing & Business Development: support local marketing initiatives and drive business development in strategic verticals.

What will you bring to Ansell?

  • Demonstrated solid sales and marketing experience including leadership roles and proven sales performance at a national level.
  • Strong knowledge of the PPE market, including products, competition, and regulatory/business procedures.
  • Skilled in distributor channel sales and direct customer engagement, with experience in matrix organizations.
  • Proficient in CRM systems with sound understanding of P&L and budgeting.
  • Demonstrated leadership and coaching abilities, with a proactive, results-driven, and customer-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with fluent communication in both German and English.

  • The role requires a valid driving license, frequent domestic and occasional international travel (approx. 50%), participation in fairs, flexibility for out-of-hours calls across time zones.
