The Regional Sales Manager, Heavy Trucking is responsible for driving business development and managing dealer relationships within a designated region or for designated dealer groups or manufacturers. This role supports the Director in executing sales strategies, training dealer staff, and expanding market share. The position requires strong client engagement, product knowledge, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job? Promote Heavy Trucking products and services to equipment dealers and OEMs. Conduct training for F&I managers, sales teams, and dealer principals. Drive adoption of online quoting tools and provide ongoing post-sale support. Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular follow-ups. Identify new business opportunities and present tailored proposals. Monitor market trends and competitor activity. Prepare monthly reports and communicate with dealer partners. Provide performance feedback and insights to leadership. Represent the company at trade shows, conventions, and networking events. What are the requirements needed for this position? Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience Minimum 3 years in sales or business development within the trucking industry with a proven track record of driving business growth and managing customer relationships Experience with finance & insurance products (e.g., service contracts, warranties) Strong communication and presentation skills Self-starter with ability to work independently Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint What other skills/experience would be helpful to have? 5+ years in heavy trucking or heavy equipment sales Familiarity with dealer networks and commercial lending markets Capability to do and/or critique complex financial modeling What are the working conditions and physical requirements of this job? General office demands How much should I expect to travel? 50-60% travel #LI-Remote Pay Range: $72,900.00 - $121,900.00 Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
