ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Works closely with marketing department to provide training for distributor personnel to improve their knowledge of the products. * Provide leadership to development of annual Sales Plans, execution for those plans, monitoring of plans, and facilitate execution of penetration plans within the regions. * Maintains sales management data in Salesforce to be used for assessing risk in sales plan, understanding new customer penetration, and contributing to a national view of the sales funnel. * Monitors each distributor’s effectiveness relative to potential effectiveness of other distributors and effectiveness of competitors in the territory. * Motivate distributors. Recommend changes to them. * Initiate effective sales programs and coordinate the efforts of Product Managers with Distributor personnel to implement and execute the programs.  Function as liaison between distributors and home office. * Monitor financial activity of Distributors and assist in collecting money due the company. * Supervise clerical functions in regional office and maintain proper records. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * Ability to communicate effectively with both, technical and executive level personnel. * Excellent product knowledge relative to product offerings * Excellent presentation skills. * Excellent part processing skills with the ability to communicate the complexities to potential customers and distributors. * Ability to present a professional image * Ability to negotiate effectively with both, customers and distributor principals. * Rational decision-making skill * Ability to travel both domestically and internationally EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE * Minimum of BS degree in mechanical engineering or manufacturing technology engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience. * 10 years minimum of metal cutting experience specifically focused on machining center and EDM applications within a manufacturing engineering environment.
