We have an exceptional opportunity for someone like you to join our Commercial Sales Team as a Regional Sales Manager supporting our Ophir infrared thermal imaging solutions. Ophir is a brand within the MKS Instruments Photonics Solutions Division. You will focus primarily on identifying business opportunities at new and existing OEM customers in India and APAC. By becoming an expert on our product offering and capabilities, you will be able to promote our brand to meet customer needs. If you have a passion for uncovering new business opportunities and providing technical solutions, this is the role for you. What you will do: Identify new opportunities, applications, segments, and markets for products and capabilities. Have thorough knowledge of products to recognize market and customer dynamics and drivers Build strong relationships with customers at multiple levels in organization Work as a team with other Sales Territory and Regional Sales Managers to grow total business Communicate and coordinate with internal teams including product management, project management, engineering, manufacturing and quality Provide accurate orders forecast to Sales Management Attend tradeshows and conferences Identify, collect, and disseminate sales best practices, customer requirements, and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement of business What you will bring to the role and to our team are the following qualifications and skills: Bachelor's degree preferable in technical discipline (Physics, Engineering, Applied Science) 8+ years’ experience selling commercial and/or Defense infrared optics and/or optical assemblies for OEM, including extensive product, customer, competitor and market knowledge Demonstrated success in a customer facing role with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals Technology focused and excellent problem-solving skills Open and communicative with strong leadership and decision-making skills Strong negotiation skills Globally, our policy is to recruit individuals from wide and diverse backgrounds.
