Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving regional growth by managing and developing a high-performing team of Business Development Managers. Representing a leading fintech company, you will spearhead the execution of innovative sales strategies, ensuring the delivery of tailored payment solutions to small and medium-sized businesses. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven leader to shape our market presence in the Ireland and redefine how businesses embrace fintech solutions.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Recruit, train, and mentor a team of Self-Employed Field Sales Business Development Managers to achieve and exceed individual and regional targets.
  • Provide ongoing coaching to enhance skills, product knowledge, and customer engagement techniques.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture aligned with company values.
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to drive growth in line with business objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends, optimize performance, and create actionable plans.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key business stakeholders and partners in the region.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Field Sales Representatives, supporting them in closing deals and overcoming challenges.
  • Represent the company at industry events, networking sessions, and customer meetings to boost brand visibility.
  • Ensure efficient territory management and account prioritization for team members.
  • Regularly report on team performance, challenges, and opportunities to senior leadership.Uphold compliance with company policies and local regulatory requirements.

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within sales, preferably in the fintech, payments, or technology sectors.
  • A strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, with hands-on experience in field sales.
  • Exceptional leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Strategic mindset with a results-driven approach and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills. A personal style that demonstrates authority, commitment and consistency, and inspires trust and confidence.
  • Experience in the payment industry will be considered as a strong advantage.
