ANA is headquartered in Henderson, Nevada with locations in Cypress, California and Spartanburg, South Carolina. ANA is growing and scaling and we are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead the North Region by developing new business in a multi-state territory. The successful candidate will create a territory sales plan (TSP) and be able to execute behaviors to achieve revenue goals, utilize a CRM to capture appropriate and accurate customer data, work with multifunctional departments to ensure complete customer satisfaction in all aspects of the customers interface with ANA. As the Regional Sales Manager of the North Region, you will gain a complete understanding of our customers’ business needs and pain points before developing a solution using all internal resources to develop a cohesive solution to the customer, communicate appropriate business intelligence and market trends to the business, and be an ambassador of ANA’s culture and core values internally and externally. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the ANA team to support our customers while developing partnerships across our chosen channels, effectively demonstrate how ANA products deliver the highest value, lowest cost of ownership and best return on investment, and continually strive to ensure total customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
This role reports to the Regional Vice President.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3-5 years’ experience in relevant sales role
- Demonstrated ability to make solid business decisions and to work within a matrixed, fast paced environment
- Requires solid understanding of the principles and practices involved in new business development, product marketing, and sales
- Demonstrated knowledge and skill of solution selling techniques
- Requires exceptional organizational, verbal and written communication, time & region management and interpersonal skills to build partnerships
- Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver presentations, training, and business solutions
- Requires well-developed problem solving and negotiation skills across the pricing spectrum
- Must understand financing alternatives and solutions that match the needs of our customers
- Demonstrated efficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Proof of valid driver’s license and insurability
Responsibilities:
- Technical background in Power Generation and Compressed Air required
- Understanding of regional market and business activity drivers that will support exceeding revenue goals
- Time management skills and ability to prioritize markets, customers, channels and partnering opportunities
- Ability to develop territory sales plans to build a solid customer base to drive sales and account growth
- Strong territory management skill and proven success in managing all sales opportunities from qualification to order and account management after the sale
- Discipline to provide timely forecasts, complete CRM data entries, etc. in an effort to support other ANA departments and team members including: Finance, Marketing, Inside Sales, Technical Support, Operations, and Engineering
- Manage all aspects of the customer partnership by providing options and solutions that match customer requirements, ensuring satisfaction with delivered product through the entire product life cycle
- Ability to travel 60% - 75%
- Technical aptitude and wherewithal to learn and understand ANA product line
- Ability to manage multi-tier pricing programs, negotiate freight, terms and conditions, etc. in line with ANA processes
- Maintain expenses within operating budgets and develop travel schedules to efficiently cover all market opportunities on a regular basis while keeping costs to a minimum
- Educate customers on products, service, warranties, and technical support
- Drive a high-quality customer experience by selling the ANA way using values and culture as a standard
- Ability to work and communicate effectively and positively in a team environment
