SUMMARY

We have an immediate opening for an experienced Regional Sales Manager – Alberta and British Columbia in Canada
Responsibilities Include

The Regional Sales Managers core responsibility is the sales and account development activities within the assigned territories and allocated key accounts, including but not limited to:

  • High flexibility and extensive travel will be required
  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with new and existing customers
  • Prepare and present sales presentations focusing on the company’s value proposition to customer
  • Review customer inquiries and insure a complete understanding of specifications and requirements
  • Maintain the sales pipeline and provision of core data for customer base
  • Interact with the local indirect sales channel as needed, for support and special projects
  • Make regular sales calls to key existing/prospective customers to understand their needs, educate their staff, and assess the business environment including, but not limited to, new opportunities or competitive situations at the account
  • Recommendations on other actions to secure business
  • Coordinate and present training regarding our website and product lines
  • Provide annual review recommendations for sales in accordance with company goals and policies
  • Provide weekly call reports, written plans, and other documentation on time
  • Adhere to company travel and expense policies in the conduct of daily business

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education in Sales & Marketing at a College or University level or equivalent with mechanical aptitude and industry experience will be considered
  • A minimum of 5-7 years sales experience in Heavy Duty Truck Parts.
  • Extensive knowledge of Heavy-Duty Truck Parts and Industry Contacts
  • Mechanical background an asset
  • Ability to maintain and develop customer contacts and relationships
  • Ability to prospect new clients
  • Computer literate with Microsoft Office and able to utilize technology to source and find information
  • Strong demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
  • Have a professional attitude and appearance
  • Bring a strong work ethic, be self-motivated with a desire to succeed
  • Ability to work independently, with strong initiative and decision-making skills
  • Must have high attention to detail
  • Deliver on growth and profitability
  • Has enthusiasm and desire to contribute to a winning culture
