Role Description We are seeking a dynamic and driven Regional Sales Manager based in the Bay Area to lead capital equipment sales, along with services and market development efforts. This role is pivotal in driving the adoption of Pyxa across academic, biotech, and pharmaceutical sectors. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in life science sales, expertise in complex capital sales cycles, and the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Sales & Market Development: Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, with a focus on capital equipment. Identify and cultivate new business opportunities across academic, biotech, and pharmaceutical sectors. Conduct on-site meetings, demos, and presentations across the Pacific Northwest (>50% travel expected). Technical & Strategic Selling: Understand customer scientific projects and business needs to position Stellaromics’ solutions effectively. Leverage deep product knowledge to conduct sales presentations and support instrument and reagent sales. Develop and execute territory sales plans, using market insights and customer feedback to refine strategies. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Maintain strong communication with internal teams and external stakeholders, gathering customer insights to inform product development and innovation. Work closely with marketing, R&D, and field teams to enhance customer success and drive adoption. Creative Business Growth: Proactively explore new technology applications and expand market reach in an emerging field. Build relationships with core facilities and decision-makers to increase awareness and engagement. Professional Representation: Represent Stellaromics professionally, ethically, and responsibly, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and long-term partnerships. Qualifications 5+ years of life sciences sales experience, focused on capital equipment and fee-for-service sales. Prospecting mindset, with proven success in territory planning, pipeline management, and closing deals. Technical expertise in genomics, spatial biology, and/or imaging technologies. Experience selling to academic, biotech, and pharma customers, engaging with scientists, core facilities, and procurement teams. Proficiency in CRM and AI tools for sales operations and reporting. Strong presentation and communication skills for scientific demos and seminars. Ability to excel in a constantly changing, high-growth environment. 50%+ travel required within the Northwest territory. Why Stellaromics?
