Description

A global precision machinery Manufacturer is seeking a results-driven and technically proficient Regional Sales Manager to lead and grow their sales efforts within a designated region. The ideal candidate will have experience in CNC machine tools or industrial equipment sales, and a strong understanding of manufacturing environments. This position can be remote but must be resides in VA.

REGIONAL SALES MANAGER QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of technical sales experience in CNC machine tools or related industrial equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., turning, milling, automation).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the region (up to 60%)
  • Valid Driver’s license is required

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve regional revenue and growth targets.
  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities with OEMs, job shops, and manufacturing facilities.
  • Manage relationships with existing clients and distribution partners, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Provide technical sales support, including demonstrations, presentations, and customized solutions based on client needs.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product management teams to provide customer feedback and support new product development.
  • Track and report on regional sales performance, forecasts, and market trends using CRM and sales analytics tools.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer site visits across the assigned territory.
