Job Description Minor Hotels are seeking a Regional Sales Manager – QLD to drive corporate, government, MICE and leisure revenue across our QLD portfolio. Reporting to the Area Director of Sales, this role plays a critical part in executing group sales strategies to maximise occupancy, revenue, and long-term account growth. This is a hands-on role for a commercially minded sales professional who thrives on building strong relationships, identifying new opportunities, and delivering results across a diverse portfolio of properties. Key responsibilities Drive corporate, government, MICE and leisure sales across QLD properties Grow existing accounts while actively developing new business Implement group sales strategies to maximise room and events revenue Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and forward occupancy Manage and maintain key client relationships through face-to-face and virtual engagement Work closely with Hotel Managers, Revenue and Commercial teams Represent the business at industry events, trade shows and networking forums Ensure accurate reporting, data integrity and CRM management Qualifications Proven experience in a Business Development or Sales Manager role within hospitality or tourism Demonstrated success in growing revenue and building strong client portfolios Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills Highly organised with strong time management and planning capability Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a wider sales team Strong commercial acumen and passion for delivering exceptional service Additional Information At Minor Hotels, we value our people as the heart of our success.
