Description

Business: The ReFood AD plants operate as integrated recycling units, processing a variety of food wastes to produce biogas, renewable electricity, heat and ReGrow (a nutrient-rich fertiliser for local farms). The plants also recycle the food waste packaging providing an environmentally sustainable solution for all waste producers looking for a safe method of diverting food waste from landfill.

Responsibilities
  • Managing the sales of the company’s recycling services within the designated territory and/or accounts.
  • To manage the regional sales team to ensure all agreed targets and objectives are achieved.
  • Manage and control feedstocks into the Dagenham facility to ensure supply is at the required level, compliance with legal requirements and to maintain the appropriate revenue and quality objectives.
  • Ensure that PAS 110 digestate compliance is maintained and oversee the 3rd party digestate contractors.
  • Maintain contact with existing customers, monitor trading levels and maximise opportunities for additional business.
  • Prepare quotes in line with the agreed pricing strategy and re-negotiate terms where appropriate.
  • Gather and maintain up-to-date market intelligence within the local area, monitor competitor activity (services and prices), and communicate where necessary
