About the Role: We are seeking a driven and strategic Regional Sales Manager to lead our newly formed South Region, covering Houston, Ft. Worth, Alabama, and Georgia. This is a high impact leadership opportunity to shape regional strategy, develop a high performing sales organization, and expand our market presence across a critical growth territory. This role requires the candidate to reside within the South Region at one of the four sites support frequent travel and on-site leadership across Houston, Ft. Worth, Alabama, and Georgia. In this role, you will provide leadership to both our Outside Sales team and the Inside Sales Manager and team for the region, ensuring alignment, accountability, and effective execution across all customer touchpoints. You will take full ownership of regional performance, driving revenue growth while maintaining strong margins and service excellence. Success will be defined by increasing market share, strengthening profitability, developing talent, and building a sustainable pipeline of new business across the region. What You’ll Be Responsible For: Lead, coach, and develop a team of Outside Sales Representatives and the Inside Sales Manager, fostering a culture of performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Drive regional revenue growth and profitability across Houston, Dallas, Alabama, and Georgia. Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with corporate objectives and market opportunities. Oversee pricing strategy, contract negotiations, and long term customer agreements to protect and expand margins. Ensure strong coordination between inside and outside sales to maximize account coverage, responsiveness, and customer retention. Forecast revenue, maintain pipeline visibility, and analyze performance metrics to inform strategic decisions. Partner cross functionally with operations, supply chain, and pricing teams to ensure seamless execution and service excellence. Identify new market segments, expansion opportunities, and strategic accounts to accelerate growth. Monitor competitive activity and industry trends to proactively position Marmon/Keystone for success. What Makes You a Strong Fit: High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. 5+ years of experience in steel service center or metals distribution environments. Demonstrated success in sales leadership and team development across both inside and outside sales functions. Strong knowledge of carbon steel products and distribution channels. Proven ability to drive revenue growth while maintaining disciplined margin management. Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship building skills. Strong forecasting, CRM management, and reporting capabilities. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Willingness to travel 70+ percent throughout the South Region. A strategic, performance driven leader who treats the region like a business within a business.
