REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and analytical skills.
  • Documented sales experience and higher education/Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years within a sales environment is essential
  • Understanding of the NHS and its sales process is essential.
Responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity in which you will develop relationships with key opinion leaders in the NHS, private hospitals and distribution networks. You will be looking after the whole IPT range of consumable products and your assigned territory will be Scotland down to the borders. Key elements of the role are ensuring high customer satisfaction and maintaining sound relations through correspondence and/or personal contact, as well as reporting out on activity.

  • Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly and yearly sales budget for assigned sales territory through the proactive sales of STERIS product lines. Manage time, travel and sales activities to maximise effectiveness on a monthly basis. Identifies top prospect accounts to focus activities effectively each month.
  • Manage customer expectations and maintain sound customer relations through timely responses to customer enquiries via accurate and timely communication.
  • Responsible for timely, accurate reporting of weekly and monthly sales events. Business planning and pipeline management.
  • Handle other duties and responsibilities as are periodically assigned or requested.
  • Be the best representative of the business that you can be, you are the face of STERIS in front of customers!
