The Regional Sales Manager is a well-rounded business professional who is responsible for managing sales programs and strategic planning initiatives within our Regional U.S. dealer and A&D networks to ensure that all sales targets are met. This key results-driven position works closely with our independent sales representatives, customer service, and marketing team members to develop and implement regional sales plans and strategies to achieve company objectives and growth. The Regional Sales Manager must have a strong desire to win, be a fast learner, and have the experience and ability to train, speak, and present at industry events. Work Location This position is based at Watson’s Seattle Design Studio (SDS). The role requires approximately 50% travel throughout the Western U.S., with a preference for candidates who live within easy access to SeaTac International Airport to support frequent business travel. When not traveling, the Regional Sales Manager will work primarily out of the Seattle Design Studio, collaborating with the A&D community and internal Watson teams. What You’ll Do Recruit, lead, train, mentor, manage and motivate sales representatives to ensure peak performance across the Western U.S. territories. Develop territory and key account strategies to drive growth. Achieve revenue goals through tracking sales performance, analyzing the results, forecasting, budgeting, and margin management. Partner with dealer networks, A&D firms, and enterprise accounts in the assigned region. Represent the company's brand and offerings at regional events , CEU courses, and designer and dealer training events., trade shows, and other public forums, interacting directly with potential customers and partners Analyze sales data, market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities and adapt strategies accordingly. Work with marketing, product development, and other departments to ensure alignment between regional efforts and corporate objectives Travel frequently throughout the assigned territory to strengthen relationships and grow sales. Set sales targets, develop strategic sales plans, maintain client relationships, and monitor performance to ensure sales goals are met. What You’ll Need to Know Minimum 10 years progressive sales experience managing independent sales teams and key accounts in contract furniture. Proven success in regional or national business development. Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills. Ability to leverage CRM and reporting systems for data-driven decisions. Highly organized, self-directed, and customer focused. Wage and Compensation The position offers a base salary in the range of $140,000 to $160,000 annually, with additional incentive compensation based on sales performance. The incentive is estimated to be approximately 33% of base salary but may exceed this amount depending on performance.
