Regional Sales Manager Wholesale - Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia (Herman Miller)
You will be an integral part of the MK wholesale team in APAC to grow the wholesale retail business of Herman Miller in Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia. The job location is based out of Australia or Singapore and reports to the Head of Wholesale APMEA. The candidate is a highly collaborative, open-minded, and hands-on individual responsible for developing the wholesale retail business across the assigned region. By building strong relationships with partners in the region and partnering with both local and international retail teams, the candidate will strive to achieve the assigned quantitative and qualitative targets. His/her main job is to maximize the performance, while ensuring the brand values and alignment among the partners in the region. The candidate is expected to act strategically for business sustainability, to ensure full compliance, and to develop a culture that aligns with MillerKnoll Values.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Drive sales revenue, manage and grow the wholesale dealer network in the retail channel for the Herman Miller brand for Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia.
Develop and implement with wholesale dealers annual and seasonal business strategies and action plans in the areas of sales targets and performance, marketing activities, ideal product assortment, showroom displays, visual merchandising, A&D projects, stock planning and inventory control, while ensuring the brand guidelines.
Monitor and track monthly orders and shipments, P&L, the number of POS, profitability at sell-in and sell out across wholesale dealer to keep in line with agreed sales strategies, forecasts, and targets.
Build and nurture strong relationships with wholesale dealers and regional trade network and provide excellent account management and customer service on day-to-day co-ordination and retail operational support.
Deliver constant brand presentations and product training to maximize dealer performance and ensure consistent brand awareness alignment across the market.
Collaborate with dealers strategic marketing initiatives and events that enhance brand visibility and exposure, to cultivate end-customer loyalty and drive sales growth.
Review and analyze market and industry trends, and scalability to help determine long term wholesale and retail business needs, and potential business development opportunities in each region.
Monitor receivables and payments for healthy and sustainable business growth.
Collaborate with work team leader and cross-functional teams on a regular basis to align and coordinate on retail strategy, action plan executions and overall direction of company goals.
