As a Regional Sales Rep, you’ll be instrumental in managing and expanding a dedicated geographic territory. Your primary goal will be to cultivate a robust pipeline of new business, ensuring our customers view Custom Profile as their trusted solutions provider.

YOUR INITIAL IMPACT & GOALS:

We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running and achieve significant milestones:

  • Within 90 Days: Establish a fully functioning sales pipeline.
  • Within 120-180 Days: Secure your first pipeline win.
  • By End of Year 1: Achieve $3.5 million in awarded business through organic growth within your regional target area.

Requirements:

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience is required. A suitable combination of education and experience will also be considered.
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering is preferred, but not required.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in managing and growing geographical sales territories.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the plastic processing industry is preferred. However, candidates with experience in other process-based or conversion industries will be strongly considered.

  • Drive Sales Growth: Consistently grow sales by introducing new product and service solutions to both new and existing accounts.
  • Partner with Market Leaders: We’re looking for someone excited to partner with market leaders in their respective industries, driving innovation and success together.
  • Build a Strong Pipeline: Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of new sales opportunities with existing and new accounts, adhering to company opportunity filters.
  • Be a Customer Advocate: Champion customer needs while effectively balancing them with company objectives and deliverables.
  • Close Deals: Build strong relationships at all levels within existing and potential new accounts to successfully close sales.
  • Initiate & Lead Sales Process: Schedule appointments, deliver compelling presentations, engage internal subject matter experts, and thoroughly understand account requirements and customer behaviors.
  • Identify New Markets: Collaborate with customers to identify and explore new market opportunities.
  • Provide Market Intelligence: Contribute to our market strategy by understanding the competitive landscape and sharing valuable market insights.
  • Facilitate Quoting: Interface with customer sourcing, engineering, and new product development teams to gather necessary information for accurate quoting.
  • Manage Quotes & Issues: Proactively follow up on open quote requests and related issues.
  • Utilize Technical Skills: Proficiently read part prints for the quoting process, ensuring all relevant information is provided according to company protocols.
  • Exceed Goals: Meet or exceed annual budgeted sales goals and actively participate in the budget and strategic planning processes.
  • Optimize Travel: Plan cost-effective travel within your territory to maximize sales meeting efficiency.
  • Own the Forecast: Take ownership of the sales forecast for your area of responsibility.
