POSITION OVERVIEW The Regional Sales Manager – Ag & Turf is responsible for driving sales growth and market share of Profile Controlled Release Fertilizer (CRF) products through established distribution channels across the assigned territory. This role combines strong sales leadership with technical agronomic expertise to deliver innovative fertility solutions that enhance crop and turf performance.    The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional who thrives in the field, builds strong distributor and end-user relationships, and serves as a trusted resource on controlled release fertilizer technology. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. SALES PERFORMANCE & TERRITORY MANAGEMENT * Achieve or exceed annual sales and profitability targets for Profile CRF products within the assigned region. * Develop and execute regional sales strategies to expand market presence through distribution partners and key accounts. * Manage distributor relationships, including joint business planning, forecasting, and promotional activities. * Identify new market opportunities in agriculture, turf, and specialty segments. * Provide regular sales reporting, market analysis, and territory updates to leadership. 2. AGRONOMIC & PRODUCT EXPERTISE * Serve as the regional subject matter expert on controlled release fertilizer technologies and agronomic best practices. * Provide technical support and training to distributors, dealers, and end-users to ensure proper product positioning and use. * Conduct field visits, soil and tissue evaluations, and performance assessments to validate product efficacy. * Collaborate with internal R&D, marketing, and product development teams to communicate field insights and customer feedback. 3. MARKET DEVELOPMENT & INDUSTRY ENGAGEMENT * Promote Profile CRF products through industry events, trade shows, conferences, and field days. * Lead and support product trials, demonstrations, and collaborative research with universities, distributors, and growers. * Build and maintain strong relationships with key influencers, consultants, and industry partners. * Contribute to marketing initiatives, case studies, and success stories that highlight the benefits of Profile CRF solutions. QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Soil Science, Plant Science, Agricultural Business, or related field. * Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in agriculture, turf, or specialty fertilizer markets. * Proven track record of sales success through distribution channels. * Strong technical understanding of plant nutrition, fertilizer technologies, and agronomic principles. * Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. * Ability to travel up to 60% within the assigned region.
