THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a highly energetic and self-motivated Regional Sales Representative to join our team in the Okanagan. Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a unique entry-level contract role with the opportunity to grow into a team member that will drive a key piece of our business. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing our brand presence at the retail level and significantly advancing our position in the marketplace (we are already serving a few retail locations so there’s a foundation to start with). As a confident self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, you’ll be expected to operate with independence and urgency, leading with strategic intent and a competitive drive to deliver measurable results.

  • Duties
  • Initiate, pitch, and close new beverage sales accounts in grocery, retail, and food service.
  • Support in-store execution by assisting with product placement, shelf organization, merchandising, and stock rotation to ensure product freshness and visibility.
  • Help our business build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with store managers, buyers, and key staff; plus, coordinate deliveries for accounts and do direct store deliveries.
  • Identify and develop new market opportunities within existing or new customers.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to create innovative sales strategies and approaches.
  • Keep the CRM system up to date with all account information and communications.
  • Participate in trade shows, tasting events, and other consumer activations.
  • Handle special projects and other duties as assigned, including occasional Coldstream warehouse work.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of 3 years of on-site sales experience (food or beverage experience is a strong asset.
  • Post-secondary education is preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities with diligence and strong follow-up.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized, reliable, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, travel locally up to 75% of the time.
  • Work occasional weekends for events, sampling, and such.
  • Proficiency in Google G-Suite and Microsoft Office programs.
  • Valid driver’s license, a safe driving record, and access to a reliable and clean vehicle.
