REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience as Security Controller in a small to medium Enterprise or a Deputy Security Controller role in a larger organization (500+)
  • Candidates must be able to obtain Security Clearance.
  • Ability to travel between UK offices and overseas is essential.
  • Experience of managing security across distributed sites
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in security roles

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

This hands-on role as Regional Security Controller will work closely with management and executives across the UK and worldwide, as well as with other specialists (including information technology, software vendors, consultants and industry peers).

RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibility for the Regional Security Controller involves co-ordinating security management and requirements across our UK and Australian businesses. Other key responsibilities include security oversight and providing detailed management of security requirements for regional offices and external facing security consulting. This includes providing security advice to our clients on matters of operational security planning and strategy where this is part of a wider security scope.

  • Acts as Security Controller for our FSC businesses across the UK and take responsibility for generating and maintaining Security Procedures governing our security management to UK and Australian standards.
  • Produces and delivers security education and training packages.
  • Assists in the management of additional security requirements such as Insider Risk, Secure by Design, IPSA, List N and specific requirements for OGD.
  • Acts as Information Security Officer for all businesses in collaboration with our IT team for generating, maintaining and ensuring that Accredited Document Sets, IT SyOPs, etc are current and compliant.
  • Provides a source of general security advice to other parts of the Europe Region including personnel security good practice, general crime and fraud prevention and arising security matters.
  • Develops security policy and strategy documentation for clients on matters of personnel security, corporate standards, site management etc.
  • Provide security audit services covering a range of clients across multiple sectors e.g. data centers, education, pharma, transportation etc.
