This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Regional Security Manager - Southeast Region in the United States. This role is responsible for overseeing armed security operations across multiple states, ensuring compliance with contract and regulatory requirements while managing personnel effectively. You will supervise security teams, coordinate daily operations, and serve as the main point of contact for clients, maintaining strong communication and operational excellence. The position requires frequent travel and offers the opportunity to lead large security programs in a dynamic, multi-site environment. You will handle staffing, onboarding, performance management, and the proper use of security equipment, including magnetometers and detection wands. This role provides a hands-on leadership experience where operational oversight, problem-solving, and personnel management are essential to success. \n Accountabilities Oversee security operations and personnel at multiple sites across several states. Manage a team of armed security guards, ensuring staffing, screening, access control, facility checks, incident response, and reporting are conducted effectively. Maintain strict adherence to contract requirements, applicable laws, and Agency Security Classification (ASC) standards. Serve as the primary contact for clients, providing accurate operational updates and incident reports. Handle personnel management, including disciplinary actions, performance reviews, scheduling, and time-off coordination. Collaborate with HR and recruiting teams on onboarding, staffing, and employee matters. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including security and firearms licensure. Verify the maintenance, calibration, and proper use of security equipment. Ensure all security procedures, post orders, and emergency response plans are current, understood, and followed. Requirements Minimum of 7 years of relevant security experience, including at least 3 years in a management role overseeing large domestic security programs. Prior experience as a licensed security guard is preferred. Demonstrated expertise with walk-through magnetometers, hand-held detection wands, and security equipment calibration. Experience supporting US Government contracts is highly desirable. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage personnel remotely across multiple locations. Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check and maintain any required security clearance. Possess a valid driver’s license and availability for frequent travel. Ability to work in various environmental conditions and perform physical tasks such as standing, lifting up to 49 pounds, climbing, and bending as required.
