Cantec Security Services is a leader in the Uniform Security and Mobile Patrol industry, committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and security across all our locations.
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Regional Security Supervisor to oversee and support security operations across multiple sites within the Niagara Region.
About the Role
As a Regional Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating all security operations within your designated region. You will work closely with on-site security teams, ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and serve as a liaison between corporate leadership and field staff. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will work with a team of other Regional Security Supervisors to assure smooth daily general operations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supervise and support local Cantec security staff across multiple sites in the region.
  • Conduct regular site visits, audits, and inspections to ensure safety standards are being upheld.
  • Train and mentor site security supervisors and guards.
  • Respond to security incidents and emergencies, ensuring proper reporting and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.
  • Analyze incident trends and develop strategies to reduce risk.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of local laws and regulations regarding security and safety.
  • Prepare reports for regional and corporate management.
  • Reporting and Submission of Daily Logs.
  • Responding Promptly to Alarm Calls/Staff Assistance Calls when On Call.
  • Assist Customer and Staff with Other Miscellaneous Tasks as needed.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in security supervision, preferably across multiple locations.
  • Law enforcement, military, or private security background strongly preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and crisis management skills.
  • Ability to travel regularly within the region.
  • Proficient in incident reporting systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record demonstrated via driver’s abstract.
  • Minimum 3 years of driving experience with at least a G2 driver’s license.
  • Valid Ontario Security Guard License.
  • Valid Emergency First Aid/Level C CPR.
  • Valid Smart Serve Certification.

Please note that this position does require the successful candidate to fulfill On-Call responsibilities. A more detailed outline of the job description will be discussed during the interview screening process.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week
