We advise clients on regulatory strategy, market access, and engagement across national, regional, and global fora. The Role We are seeking a Regional Senior Advisor with deep regional and local expertise to support strategic regulatory engagement and market access initiatives for communications satellites across key regions, including Caribbean, Southeast Asia, Korea, Japan, East Africa, Southern Africa, Latin America, and Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). The ideal candidate will bring extensive regional knowledge, strong relationships with regulators and policymakers, and a proven track record of engagement with national regulatory authorities and relevant regional organisations such as CTU, CARICOM, APT, ASEAN, EACO, SADC, ATU, CITEL, RCC. This is a flexible, part-time advisory role, suited to a senior professional with an established network across the Caribbean and experience engaging with government and corporate stakeholders. What you'll do: Provide strategic advice on regulatory and policy developments across the region. Support engagement with national stakeholders at all levels of seniority. Leverage existing relationships to facilitate dialogue and collaboration among stakeholders Provide insights on regional dynamics across organisations such as APT, CTU, ATU, CITEL, CARICOM, ASEAN, EACO, SADC, and related institutions Support the development and execution of advocacy and engagement strategies in regional and multilateral fora Contribute to policy analysis and briefing materials tailored to regional stakeholders Identify opportunities for capacity building, partnerships, and strategic engagement across the region What you'll need: Essential 10–15+ years of experience in telecommunications policy, regulation, or related fields Strong understanding of the regulatory and policy landscape in your region Experience working with or within: Government ministries Regulatory authorities International or regional organisations Demonstrated ability to engage senior stakeholders and influence policy discussions Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
