Descrição do emprego Responsible for ensuring that all service providers are connected with the best possible connectivity format: EDI, API, or Mobile/Portal Ensure that all dispatching is electronic, and all events are hitting their KPI, including 90% for DLV and POD Identify the root cause of the Carrier or Operator issues impacting connectivity. Then introducing solutions. Provide continuous guidance and coaching to our Carriers on all EDI/API functionality. Provide continues guidance and training to our Operational teams to improve efficiency through connectivity. Identify opportunities for providers to move to a direct connection or API or other cost saving connectivity options. Train branch management on systems and data management, including new systems and connections options. Cooperate and assist all members in the Service Provider Management team. Monitor service provider performance with standards, of execution (i.e.: DLV to DLV create, DLV to POD), Drive for continuous improvements. Highlight value of the relationship to the service provider as well as our branch (i.e.: cost savings, standards improvement) Work closely with the regional service provider manager to learn the Corporate, Americas and Branch objectives. Work closely with DM and branch personnel to establish service expectations and measurements for new and existing service providers. Consistently review and report on branch and service provider performance program standards and expectations Ensure the service provider has a proactive focus on innovation and continued improvement. Maintain daily/weekly oversight of profile requirements, set metrics with service provider, always looking for areas for improvement. Ensure all service provider GCIs are accurately set up and properly used by operations. Qualificações Deep knowledge of Expeditors Transportation Systems. Strong understanding of Expeditors Operational processes across multiple Products. Strong ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to take initiative and ownership of work. Informações Adicionais EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree or 4 years related experience Strong communication skills; including written and verbal skills with the ability to ask questions of anyone Strong facilitation skills. Confidence and interpersonal skills, ability to respectively relate and communicate to employees at all levels (e.g., executive sponsors, district managers, product and service leaders, etc.) Strong organizational skills, ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively. Attention to detail and an ability to follow through with tasks.
Responsibilities
The specialist is responsible for ensuring service providers have optimal connectivity (EDI, API, Mobile/Portal) and that dispatching is electronic, meeting KPI targets for delivery and proof of delivery. This includes identifying and resolving connectivity issues, providing continuous guidance to carriers and operational teams, and identifying cost-saving connection opportunities.
